LINKEDIN LONDON EXPERIENCE CENTER

Challenge

How do you take the world’s largest professional social network and translate it into a tangible, intricately layered, real-world environment that’s just as intuitive and approachable IRL? As LinkedIn prepared to break ground on its first-ever Experience Center, they wanted to layer modern architecture and sleek interior design with something more. Tapped for our creative technology and exhibit design expertise, we were tasked with dreaming up interactives that enticed and educated; builds that would draw guests in, hold their attention, and encourage hands-on exploration of LinkedIn’s latest innovations and offerings.

Strategy

As the exhibit and user journey lead, we intertwined physical design, experience design, and brand strategy to bring the Experience Center to life. Every element was intended to strengthen in-person conversations and customer engagement, from stunning displays, to shareable photo opportunities, to interactive modules highlighting LinkedIn's business solutions, products, and brand narrative. The result? A collaborative, multi-use space where customers, social impact organizations, and industry experts can make connections, learn, and gain new mastery of the platform to achieve their business goals.

A dazzling invitation to step inside

Guests’ first look into the Center? Brand Portal: an atmospheric media moment that beckons from the windows, catching attention from the street. Surrounded by stairs on both sides, the exhibit animations respond to movement and touch; gradient, softly-shifting landscapes can be updated for seasons, holidays, or events. On the backend, this large-scale installation required significant woodworking, lots of LED light installation and testing, and careful electrical assembly.

Unlocking potential and celebrating wins, together

Every minute, six LinkedIn members across the world are hired for new job positions. That’s a lot to celebrate! To evoke this data point in a unique way, our glowing LinkedIn Logo Moment cycles through six, firework-like “burst modes” per minute. And, as guests gather around the logo for a photo moment, the lighting toggles from “ambient mode” to “glow-up mode” for a better snapshot. These little details give the space a lively, warm, welcoming energy.

A keepsake and a killer profile pic, born in the same moment

The LinkedIn Photo Booth is where guests get their groove on! It's their chance to have some fun, channel their inner tourist, and snag a profile pic that shines. They can step inside, strike a pose, and try out different lighting and backgrounds (including some with a British flair). In seconds, they'll have a physical filmstrip and digital pics to update their profile with.

VISUALLY STUNNING
MOMENTS AND COMPLEX, DATA-RICH INSIGHTS.

Peel back the layers and see inside the brand

Vision Window takes guests on a journey through LinkedIn’s core values and vision across DEI, Career Growth, Social Impact & Sustainability, and more. Guests can explore LinkedIn’s data insights and see how they’re driving the future trajectory of work. Each module offers transparency, deepens customer engagement, and explains how LinkedIn is so much more than just a platform for networking and jobs.

Choose your own adventure with content that speaks to you

Solutions Hub’s sleek, curved display serves up a range of desired business outcomes; these content quick-hits are the starting point, or lens, through which the rest of the customer journey unfolds. At their own pace, guests approach, "tap to learn more," and explore in-depth case studies about LinkedIn Learning Hub, upskilling with AI, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more, and see firsthand how these tools can help them reach their goals. By following their own winding trails of interest, customers step into the story and walk away with relevant, actionable next steps.
