We built a whimsical, traveling gashapon machine for VisitPITTSBURGH, then hit the road, showing out-of-towners everything the Steel City has to offer.

To support their "Pittsburgh Will Surprise You" campaign, we collaborated with the VisitPITTSBURGH team on a shareable moment of surprise, highlighting the city's hidden gems. We popped up at outdoor festivals, where attendees eagerly lined up to participate; each guest took a personality quiz, then turned a glowing, oversized crank to receive their Pittsburgh Persona mini (Incline, Pierogi, Rover, Neighborly Sweater, Terrible Towel, or Wildcard) and an AI-generated itinerary for the perfect day in the 'Burgh, tailored to their tastes. So far, we’ve traveled to D.C., Cleveland, and Buffalo.
