THE WORLD IS ON NETFLIX

The world is streaming on Netflix. Extraterrestrials, are you watching?

For the first time in history, Netflix expanded its audience beyond planetary confines. We transmitted five Netflix stories into space from Area 51, Nevada, giving aliens a front-row seat to humanity.

In partnership with Netflix and a SETI Institute award-winning astrophysicist, we translated Netflix stories into alien language and broadcast them to the Kepler-160 system, home to potential Earth-like planets. This intergalactic streaming experience and documentary short supported Netflix’s global brand campaign “The World is on Netflix,” which debuted during the Olympics opening ceremony.
