Toyota Prius Concept Bike

Built for Toyota Prius Projects, we created a futuristic concept bike that allows users to shift gears with their minds. The custom bike helmet is outfitted with sensors to detect that brains electrical signals and communicate with the gear-shifting mechanism.
Deeplocal teamed up with Saatchi & Saatchi, Parlee Cycles, and Toyota to build a lightweight "bike of the future," complete with carbon-fiber frame, smartphone dock, and a high-tech headgear. Using custom software, we equipped the helmet with a neuro headset and programmed it to allow for thought-controlled gear shifting. The cyclist needs only 10 minutes of thought training to shift gears hands-free.
