Want more waffles?
So, we don't claim to be waffle experts. We just want to have friendly discussions and to get all of our networks (artists, start-ups, non-profits, etc.) talking more openly. Rather than creating another evening event, we thought- why not just make some waffles and chat? If you really just want awesome waffles, there are two amazing shops nearby dedicated to serving up fantastic waffles and other eats that we draw inspiration from. Check them out and buy some waffles. We're really just hacks at waffle-making; these guys are the professionals:
Oh Yeah!
232 S. Highland Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15206
This is a great place to hang out and eat real gourmet waffles and ice cream with all kinds of mix-ins. We love Oh Yeah! and we think you will too.
The Waffle Shop
124 S. Highland Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15206
This is such a great idea, started by Jon Rubin and his art students at Carnegie Mellon. We were there for an evening carb-intense waffle session where we watched Lindsay from iheartpgh.com and Nick from hackpgh.com talk blogs. The waffles are good and the concept is great. Visit the site to watch past interviews at this reality show / waffle shop.
