Marketing/Editorial Internship (Fall '09 & Spring '10)
Deeplocal, the Pittsburgh-based mobile technology design and development studio, is actively seeking an unpaid marketing/editorial intern who has a solid understanding of the web, excellent communication skills, and the desire to make an impact on a small start-up company with a team of motivated, creative individuals.
It's also important to note that we have a foosball table, mini-basketball hoop, and team yoga…not to mention an affinity for playground sports (our kickball team is pretty awesome.)
Responsibilities
- Conduct marketing research and maintain an organized database of your findings.
- Write and edit content for various Deeplocal products and websites.
- Support the marketing department in initiatives to increase traffic and repeat visitors to Deeplocal websites and applications.
Requirements
- Perfect for English, Journalism, and Marketing students, but open to all majors
- Outstanding communication skills
- High energy, strong team player, motivated, self-directed, and creative
- Able to come into our office at 6101 Penn Avenue, Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (Shadyside/East End) 3 days, approx. 20-25 hours per week
